Chinese Censors Block Twitter, Hotmail

(NTDTV)
Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre, and Chinese censors are cracking down. They’re blocking websites on a scale not seen since the run-up to last year’s Olympics.
The latest victim is Twitter, an online social network where users post short messages.
Censors have also recently blocked Hotmail. And YouTube has been inaccessible from within China since March. On Monday night, BBC News broadcasts were blacked out.
The Chinese regime’s goal of blocking these media appears to be to control information related to the 1989 student democracy movement.
