Professor Takes 50 Students to Shen Yun

Colby College East Asian studies srofessor Kimberly Besio has a love for the oriental. She encouraged 50 of her students to travel by bus for more than one and a half hours to see Shen Yun.

“It looks great. They perform very well. In addition, it lets my students have the opportunity to listen to Chinese. So I am very happy.”

The traditional values of ancient China and the suffering that Chinese people have endured in more recent times gave the show diversity, she says.
