Tornado Kills 25 in Southwestern China

At least 25 people have been killed and 161 injured by a tornado and heavy storms in China’s southwestern Chongqing municipality on Thursday.
The 67 mile an hour winds sent locals searching for safety as water flooded the region.
“The house over there, the first floor is completely flooded. The food and bedding is all under water.”
Hailstorms and heavy winds uprooted trees and crops and destroyed more than a thousand homes.
Local authorities say the damage may run upwards of three million dollars.
